I write music for orchestras. Sometimes it's for films, most of the time it's for fun.

After much hard work and anticipation, my orchestral debut album "Tales From the Concert Hall" is finally out! Newgrounds has provided so much inspiration, feedback and support in subtle but precious ways and I'd like to extend my thanks to anyone that helped me in whatever way they could.

Many epic, romantic and indulgent moments await in this adventure so check it out here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/georgebarsoum/tales-from-the-concert-hall

Hey everyone,

After about 3 years of lurking on the audio forums and uploading every month or so, I am glad to announce the impending release of my first orchestral album: Tales From the Concert Hall, which is coming out on Feburary 28th.

This album is an anthology of my very best orchestral works spanning the last 3 years, some of which featured on Newgrounds in their more primitive forms. It captures everything I love about musical storytelling and delivers it in an approachable style that I hope cinematic and video game fans in particular will love.

That being said, if you want frequent updates and maybe even some sneak-peaks, I suggest you follow my Instagram or Facebook (links on my Newgrounds profile), since I can't make similar posts here.

Have good one, friends.

Hey everyone, hope all is well

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of my first commercial release, a piece named "Storm Ensemble" which can best be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pWOFgWjHg8

It was actually released here first and foremost but with some extra editing I felt it deserved to be my debut.

With that in mind, I've made a shift towards focusing on YouTube, Spotify and Google Play - however, I will not be neglecting Newgrounds. For now, Newgrounds is going to a testing grounds for my new music, only a fraction of which I'll commit to commercial distribution. Newgrounds has always been a great experimentation and I'll continue to embrace that.

Hey all,

Crunch time is approaching here at university so I've scaled back production to focus on my little side-project. Over on my somewhat neglected Youtube channel I've been working on orchestrating old video game MIDI soundtracks; Newgrounds' rules mean I can't upload those tracks here, but go check them out here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpfWNUnxJJOPz9OVvKFXxYQ/featured?view_as=subscriber and if you have suggestions, hit me up, I'm considering moving onto Jazz Jackrabbit or Strife.

Have a good one

Heya Newgrounders (?)

For my few friends/fans that follow my work, you've probably noticed I've gone off the radar for the last 3 months. Life and in particular university has been getting in the way, but I'm still writing intermittendly and I'm ready to get back into uploading semi-regular content; some great things are on the way!

I'm also keen to get into doing some film scores and game tunes, so to the prospective filmmakers and game devs out there, feel free to hit me up!

Happy hunting!
